TGR STRONG! Sustainability Campaign
The Toys Go 'Round Board of Directors is launching a "TGR Strong! Sustainability Campaign"
to solicit support to assist with operating expenses.
From our humble beginnings with less than 50 toys, and shelves made from milk crates and boards, Toys Go 'Round has grown to be a remarkable asset to the parents, grandparents, daycare providers, and preschools in our community. For over 30 years, TGR has been providing children with quality toys and equipment, fostering creativity and curiosity, as well as enhancing vital physical, emotional, and intellectual skill development.
We believe that play is nourishment for a child's mind, just as food is nourishment for a child's body! Our strength is measured in many ways - we have over 1400 toys available, serve over 450 children, and had over 3000 toys checked out last year. We continue to grow strong as we provide a unique service to the children of this area.
Most of our toys are bought new through grants & other funding resources, and we are thankful for their generosity. However, there are very few funding opportunities to meet the needs of the basic day to day operating expenses like rent, insurance, staffing the library, office expenses, or toy maintenance.
